We built BizSpot AI with privacy in mind. We only collect what we need to provide and improve the service. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are
BizSpot AI is an AI-powered mobile app that helps users discover potential business opportunities for specific locations. It uses AI to analyze nearby businesses, demand signals, competition, and area activity to generate insights.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run BizSpot AI.
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile data through Firebase Authentication, such as:
- Your name (if shared by the provider)
- Email address
- A unique authentication ID
You can also use Guest Mode, which does not require an account. In Guest Mode, we may create an anonymous identifier so the App can function.
2.2 Location Input
BizSpot AI works based on locations you search for. These are typically:
- Addresses, neighborhoods, cities, or place names you type
- Locations selected from search suggestions
We do not continuously track your real-time GPS location. Approximate location input is processed only to generate business insights for that area.
2.3 Saved Analyses
If you save an analysis, we store its content (location queried, AI-generated recommendations, timestamps, and related metadata) in Cloud Firestore linked to your account.
2.4 Usage and Diagnostics
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to detect crashes. This may include:
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- Anonymous usage events (screens viewed, features used)
- Crash logs and performance data
This information is aggregated and helps us improve stability and user experience.
2.5 AI Interaction Data
When you generate a recommendation, your search input and related context may be sent to AI processing services (including the OpenAI API) to generate insights.
2.6 Place Data
We use the Google Places API to retrieve information about nearby businesses, points of interest, and area activity relevant to your search.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide core App functionality (search, AI recommendations, saved analyses)
- Authenticate your account
- Generate AI-powered business insights
- Improve features, performance, and reliability
- Detect, prevent, and fix bugs, abuse, and security issues
- Communicate important service updates
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
BizSpot AI relies on trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

- You should always perform independent research before making business decisions.
AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
6. AI Services and Data Processing
BizSpot AI uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, to generate business recommendations, market insights, and AI-powered analysis.
When users request AI-powered analysis, the following information may be securely transmitted to OpenAI:
- Business search queries
- User prompts
- Location data
This information is used only to generate AI-powered insights and recommendations within the app.
BizSpot AI does not sell personal data to third parties.
Data transmitted to AI providers is sent securely using encrypted connections.
Users can disable AI-powered analysis at any time from:

7. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active.
- Saved analyses: Retained until you delete them or your account.
- Analytics & crash data: Retained according to Firebase's default retention windows.
- Guest data: May be retained for a limited period for service stability and then removed.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting bizspot.ai@gmail.com.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and data
- Withdraw consent for optional processing
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request data portability

9. Security

BizSpot AI is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact bizspot.ai@gmail.com so we can remove it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. By using BizSpot AI, you consent to such transfers.
